Beverage + Partial Pour Ends
Uses:
- Two-piece aluminum beverage cans
- Three-piece aluminum beverage cans
Applications:
- Primarily for processed, shelf-stable beverages such as fruit and vegetable juices, soft drinks, energy drinks, diet supplements, canned milk and broths; and other non-food products
- Also available for beer and alcohol-based beverage applications
Options:
- Aluminum or steel ends, tab or ring pulls, ring pull or stay-on tabs (SOT), beverage and partial pour
- Various internal and external coatings
- Lithographic printing and embossing
- Other diameters and specifications available
Aluminum cans are the beverage package of choice: they are lightweight, quick to chill the liquid refreshment inside, and easy to store and transport to a party, sporting event or beach. What really makes an aluminum can the beverage package of choice is its opening system. The best beverage ends are easy to remove from the can and have smooth edges so drinking from the can is comfortable and safe.
Beverage can ends are also known as:
- Easy-open ends (EOE)
- Large open ends (LOE)
- Stay-on tab ends (SOT)
The standard industry size beverage ends are 200 (50mm) and 202 (52mm) and work with:
- Mini cans holding 6-7 ounces used for sodas and mixers
- Standard 12-ounce cans used for beer, sodas, waters, teas
- Tall, slim 12-ounce cans used for energy drinks, hard seltzers, kombucha, coffees
